Our physical gatherings continue to be severely restricted by the coronavirus pandemic.
In particular our Sunday morning services and events remain entirely online due to the national restrictions.
Our Foodbank distribution centre at Cornerstone continues to run with a very different “collection-only” operating model.
We are working hard to stay as connected as we can via online means and in-person where that is possible. A great source of information on what is going on is our weekly Notices email – if you are not already signed-up to receive this (and other church emails) then you can sign-up here: https://bit.ly/yccsignup
10:30am Morning Worship
We are gathering online each Sunday morning via YouTube.
- If you have a SmartTV you can find us via the YouTube app on your TV. Full instructions are here.
- We are sharing communion on the first Sunday of every month so remember to bring your own bread and red juice/wine that week.
We are also providing an opportunity for prayer and fellowship after the service via zoom – so if you’d like to catch-up with some familiar faces or receive some prayer then here’s the link:
All young people aged 13+ are invited to join us on Instagram (youth.at.ycc). Every Sunday evening we’re posting a video from one of the leaders. See you there!
Prayer @ 1
1:00 pm via zoom for just 30 minutes. Join us to pray for one another and seek God’s heart for the current situation.
We are also running other special events like on-line quizzes at various times – to keep up to date follow our Events page.
One of our key means for providing pastoral care is through our small groups. These are continuing to meet online. We look forward to meeting again monthly at Cornerstone once the restrictions allow (adhering to strict COVID guidelines).
Do please try to keep in contact with others you know by phone, text or via their preferred social media or on-line technology means.
If you need to self-isolate (either because of symptoms or to protect yourself due to existing medical conditions) please let Carol know by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling the church office number (01904) 551733.
If you are feeling low, vulnerable or isolated please do not be embarrassed about getting in touch. Feel free to get in touch with Simon Rennie or someone else you would normally contact for pastoral support.
We have a wonderful, heavenly Father who is able to redeem the most seemingly desperate situations for his good and his glory. We look to him and trust him.
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1
