Summer of Equipping

The Summer of Equipping

This Summer, York Community Church is inviting you to a special season of: ministry, teaching, training, fellowship and prayer.

Join us and other as we take time out to be: envisioned, encouraged, equipped and empowered.

The Why?

Our vision at York Community Church is: Together, to know God and make him known. Our purpose is to be making disciple-making disciples: to see those attending YCC equipped and released for ministry and ministry – in order to be effective witnesses in both the gathered and scattered church. Though this theme of “discipleship” is not new to us at YCC, we believe God is leading us to do something much more intentional and purposeful this year – to really focus on the “equipping” aspect of discipleship over the summer of 2017.

The What?

As we encourage Small Group leaders to suspend their meetings over the Summer Term, we have a packed schedule of courses, prayer and fellowship.

Most of the activities will at start at 7.30pm and will be held at Cornerstone (the building previously known as St George’s).
